The Mimi Foundation

The Mimi Foundation is a nonprofit organization that connects our special needs community to life-enriching services, supports and resources.

You can go to our link page and find local resources throughout Austin. If you are confused or overwhelmed with the amount of different ones,  please fill out the contact form and someone from the foundation will call to assist you. 

We appreciate all the support from the community to our foundation. We aim to help support all special needs children and families. We do this by: using this website to connect families to services and resources, providing assistance to denials, fundraising to provide funding when funds for therapies (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Behavioral Therapy)have stopped for whatever reason. We also look for out of the box funding solutions.

Our Bi-monthly play groups assist with social interactions and friendship development between special needs children and are opening the community to a whole new approach to special needs integration.

OUR NEXT PLAY GROUP IS November 21, 2010 at the Austin/Zilker Botanical Gardens. We will play a fun game of hide and seek in the rose garden and continue on to see different gardens from all over the world right here in Austin. We hope to see everyone there.
